🌸 Women Leaders Support Fund – 5th Cohort Recipient Announcement
We are delighted to share that Khadija Harunari, the representative of Harmony Sisters Network (HSN), has been selected as one of the 5th cohort recipients of the Women Leaders Support Fund — a fund established in 2021 to increase the number of women participating in decision-making roles, including politicians, social entrepreneurs, and leaders of NPOs/NGOs.
This fund was created with generous donations managed by a public interest foundation.
This year, 6 outstanding women were selected from 94 applicants through a competitive screening process. The award ceremony took place on December 21 in Tokyo.
Khadija has been committed to empowering women and children from diverse backgrounds, creating inclusive communities, and ensuring access to education and leadership opportunities.
Regarding the use of the ¥1 million support fund, approximately ¥600,000 is planned to cover expenses related to participation in the JWLI Fellowship Program in the United States in May 2026. The remaining ¥400,000 will be used to support HSN's NPO incorporation expenses and capacity-building and leadership development opportunities for its women members.
We sincerely appreciate this generous support, which will contribute to strengthening both individual leadership and the long-term development of Harmony Sisters Network.
🌸 女性リーダー支援基金 第5期支援対象者に選出されました！
このたび、Harmony Sisters Network（HSN）代表の春成カディージャが、「女性リーダー支援基金」第5期の支援対象者に選出されたことをご報告いたします。
この基金は、政治家、社会起業家、NPO・NGOのリーダーなど、社会の意思決定に関わる女性を増やすことを目的として、2021年に設立されました。公益財団法人が管理する寄付金をもとに運営されています。
第5期は、94名の応募者の中から6名が選出され、12月21日に東京都内で授賞式が開催されました。
春成カディージャは、これまで多様な背景を持つ女性や子どもたちのエンパワーメント、誰もが参加できる包摂的な地域社会づくり、教育やリーダーシップの機会の提供に取り組んできました。
今回の支援金100万円の活用については、 約60万円を2026年5月に米国で開催される「JWLIフェローシップ・プログラム」への参加に伴う渡航費や関連経費に充てる予定です。残りの約40万円は、Harmony Sisters NetworkのNPO法人設立に関する経費や、団体の女性メンバーの人材育成・リーダーシップ向上のために活用する予定です。
この貴重なご支援に心より感謝申し上げます。
今後も、女性一人ひとりが自分の可能性を広げ、地域社会の中で主体的に活躍できる環境づくりに取り組んでまいります。
