Harmony Sisters Network Representative Khadija HarunariParticipates in the GRF 2025 Progress Review

Khadija Harunari, Representative of Harmony Sisters Network (HSN), participated in the Global Refugee Forum (GRF) 2025 Progress Review held in Geneva. During the forum, she engaged with refugee leaders, refugee-led organizations (RLOs), UN agencies, and civil society actors, exchanging perspectives on the practice of Meaningful Refugee Participation (MRP) and the critical role of refugee-led initiatives. The GRF reaffirmed a shared global understanding that refugees are not merely beneficiaries of assistance, but active partners in shaping policies and societies. Through this participation, HSN shared its experience as a Japan-based RLO and strengthened international connections to further advance refugee-led and inclusive approaches in the future.
